An Occupy Montreal protester holds up a sign in Victoria Square Park one day after occupiers were evicted by the city of Montreal. The mask, taken from the 2006 film V for Vendetta in which a masked man starts a revolution aimed at overthrowing the corrupt elite powers governing his country, has become a symbol of the Occupy movement which seeks to redress inequalities and injustices in the current global order. The sign strikes an important chord given the current news coming out of the climate talks in Durban, South Africa. Montreal, November 26, 2011.
